I am SO excited to be working together with ceramic artist Courtney Zimmerman. She is equally talented maker & awesome person!! Courtney is creating a collection of house plant pots & mugs for our fall season!!

First things first!! Time to get inspired and dream!! Courtney’s color swatches just stir something inside of me! The matte against the glossy color. The simple form.. I don’t know, but man I get so excited to see them! SOO Many possibilities!! I had been bugging Courtney for a while to see if she’d every consider making a black & white mug. She excels in color, so I thought she might be hesitant.

Then she came up with this beauty & I got excited!!! There are so many bold & beautiful colors that come with fall. I want to walk in my store and experience their beauty. So having black & white as our guiding principal, the bulk of what she creates just thrills me. So we are definitely going to have black & white mugs!!!

However, fall is about bright & bold colors. So I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to offer some beautiful color contrasting with black!!! I am SOOO excited to show off her fall collection! Her mugs and bowls will be available at my Fall Open House. Tuesday, September 14. 4:00-7:00. Black Shed Benoit Greenhouses!
