I turned 41 this Monday! I have spent so many years setting Luke up for failure on my birthday without even realizing it. He didn’t send me flowers, he didn’t make me feel important... He didn’t this, he didn’t that. I had no idea how much of a victim I was making myself! My birthdays have often been about setting big expectations (knowingly or not) and then having them unmet and feeling crushed. This year, I’m going to do it differently. I am going to count my blessings & celebrate those!!

1. I have a wonderfully supportive husband that believes in me, and lit the fire for me to believe in myself.

2. I have a business that I share with my husband, that fulfills me. Even stepping inside the greenhouse makes me feel alive. Our business is a blank slate. Whatever Luke & I choose to work on together, we can create. Our future is wide open with dreams & possibilities.
